* WHEN...From Saturday evening to Friday, May 24.

* IMPACTS...At 48.0 feet, Carthage Point Road becomes impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 45.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Saturday evening to a crest of 48.5 feet early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Catahoula, Concordia, Franklin LA, Madison LA, Richland and Tensas and Mississippi, including the following areas, Adams, Claiborne, Clarke, Copiah, Covington, Forrest, Franklin MS, Hinds, Jasper, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marion, Newton, Rankin, Scott, Simpson, Smith and Warren.

* WHEN...From late Thursday night through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall Thursday night through Friday night will bring the potential for 3 to 6 inches of rainfall, with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
