...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...In Louisiana, Southern Calcasieu Parish. In Texas, Southern Orange County.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be 2.0 to 2.25 feet above astronomical predicted levels, mainly during the times of high tide from late Sunday morning through the afternoon hours. This will allow actual tide levels to reach between 1.75 to 2.5 feet mean higher high water during the times of high tide.

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...In Louisiana, Southern Calcasieu Parish. In Texas, Southern Orange County.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be 1 to 1.75 feet above astronomical predicted levels, mainly during the times of high tide from late morning through the afternoon hours. This will allow actual tide levels to reach 1.5 feet mean higher high water or higher during high tide times.
