* WHERE...White and Inyo Mountains, Eastern Sierra Slopes, Owens Valley, Death Valley National Park, Esmeralda and Central Nye County, and Western Clark and Southern Nye County.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High crosswinds will occur on sections of Highway 395 in the Owens Valley late this afternoon and evening.

Watch for falling debris, tree limbs and downed power lines or poles. Use extra caution if you must drive.
