Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County.

.Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and increase river flows.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Comus...elevated river levels are forecast.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternative route.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Minor lowland flooding throughout the reach. No flooding in Winnemucca.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM PDT Friday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.3 feet early Tuesday morning. - Action stage is 8.5 feet. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
